MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

A night out with THE GIRLS!!!

No, No...Not me...Olivia. And it was more of a night IN with the girls! Abbie and Alison Olivia-sat for us last Saturday night so that Brad and I could attend his Christmas party (worry free)!!! SO APPRECIATED - thank you again girls!

Olivia was spoiled with treats, pressies and lots of love and cuddles from the girls!

She TOTALLY loves her baby stroller. She pushes that thing EVERYWHERE!!! It is really cut to see her mimicking "mommy moves"...makes me see that maybe i am doing an ok job here LOL

Abbie posted awesome pics of their night with Olivia on her FB. It was fun for brad and I to see through the pics what Olivia was up to while we were out!!! Although I was happy she had SO MUCH FUN, I was sad that she didn't look like she had a single thought about mommy and daddy while they were away!!!

Olivia also got to stay up till 8:30...that's a late night for her as she generally goes to bed by 7 ... lol

Daddy celebrated another wonderful birthday recently!!!! YAY!!! Olivia and I had a quiet celebration at home with him this year. WE baked him a chocolate cake the night before and then got up VERY EARLY and iced it and sprinkled it :)

Brad received ALOT of really nice gifts from his family this year too!!! SO SPOILED, but very thankful!!! Thanks everyone!!!! Dada really did have a WONDERFUL birthday :)

Olivia's first haircut!!!

Olivia finally had her FIRST HAIRCUT on December 2, 2008 (at just over 16 months old)!!! We took her to Goobers-salon for kids out in Kanata: http://www.goobers-salon.ca/

It is fairly new, and REALLY cute inside!!! The decor is all geared towards the young ones...The staff are all young and friendly...I got a kick out of when they called Olivia for her turn..."ok Olivia , we are ready for you..."...SO CUTE!!! The salon has an especially good set up for the young YOUNG customers...The chairs are things like Barbie cars, tractors and trucks!!! Olivia asked to sit in the TRUCK :) It certainly kept her entertained/distracted while Breanne was cutting off her little locks!!! Because it was Olivia's first hair cut, she got a certificate from the salon and a keepsake of her hair too!

Anyway...back to the haircut, I guess it should be considered more of a TRIM rather than a CUT perse...

I had them trim the ends and give a good cut to the back to get rid of the baby-mullet she was starting to noticeably develop!!!

Here is a pic of the PRINCESS, after her locks were cut. We let her play for a bit with the toys before we left (we almost had to buy the Barbie as she was not letting it go):

We've STARTED decorating for the holidays!!!

Here is our beautifully decorated Christmas tree!!! We put up a small artificial tree this year, since we will be away part of the holidays this year...
