ROARING RIVER STATE PARK

Our first full day in Missouri was beautiful out as far as weather!!! Certainly a big change from the 80cm of snow we left back in Ottawa!!!

My cousin chase came out this way to do some fishing and spent 2 days with us. We really enjoyed his visit!!! Olivia took quite a like to him as well...

We took Olivia to Roaring River (a place that features fishing, camping hiking and all sorts of other outdoor activities) to get some air and for a ride in her stroller. She wasn't too sure at first WHAT to think of the outdoors since this was the first time since she was a newborn she'd been outside without a ton of snow gear on!!! She LOVED it!!! She was totally mesmorized by the air on her skin, the wind in her hair, the people, the vehicles, the wild life around her etc. We could really see it in her face that she was excited yet perhaps a little confused? Anyway she loves the outdoors and I'm sure will be confused once we return home to the weather and our snow suits!!!

Olivia is kitty-sitting for her Nanny and Grandpa...After a week...Miss May is Finally settling in. Even lets Olivia pet her. We are trying to teach Olivia to be gentle and she is getting better! It's a good thing May seems so tolerant of her!!!

Every thursday, Olivia and mommy go to the swimming pool for mommy's Aquafit class. Olivia LOVES it!!! She gets to play in her little boat (floatation device) and mommy excersices!!! It's so much fun for us both!!!

After our class we spend a few minutes in the baby pool to play some more together...

On Wednesday's Olivia and I meet up with Alison and Gibson at a swimming pool in the Westboro area for "swimming lessons"... Well it's more of a class that is the first step at getting babies used to the water...Lots of singing and dancing in the pool. Olivia loves the water and really like this class...!!!

VISITING WITH GRMA and GRPA LIGHT!!!

Olivia's grandma and Grandpa Light were here last week to visit!!! Olivia LOVES when she has all her "loyal subjects" around to wait on her every need!!!

Miss Olivia cut her first two teeth last week (1 day apart)!!! She has been such a trooper during the process. I'm not sure she knows what to think of these new teeth but mommy and daddy think it makes her really cute smile even CUTER!!!!

Olivia's new ride!!!

Olivia has a new little sled her daddy bought for her!!! It makes trekkin around our hood a bit easier in the snow!!! We took her out on a test drive today...she loved it!!! Or maybe it bored her??? She was asleep when we got home...!!!

...Her sled has a great little wind barrier as well!!!

a GREAT day to be out on the Canal here in Ottawa!!!

The O'Neil's enjoyed a wonderful family day today, just the 3 of us!!! It was nice. Winterlude is on in the Capital right now (always a fun time), and it was a beautiful day to enjoy the outdoors while there was fresh snow, mild temperatures and little wind!!!
