Just wanted to say a great big thank you to Olivia's Grandma and Papa for taking their vacation time to come and help us look after Olivia for an entire two weeks while her daycare was closed for summer holidays!
We are very lucky to have such thoughtful parents and your help has been very much appreciated.
Olivia kept Grandma and Papa very busy during their stay. Activities included, daily trips to our park (and if i can say, Grandma perhaps spoils her in this area by staying there 2 or more hours at a time...lol), the grand Hawaiian Luau (bday party), trips to parliament (to see the cats and watch the changing of the guard), meeting mommy for lunch on Olivia's bday, showing off at Monday night gymnastics classes X 2, swimming in the little pool in the backyard (which daddy and grandpa rigged up a slide to...creating our own little water park..lol), a trip to the experimental farm, a trip to the children's museum (Museum of Civilization), a trip to the splash pad and a picnic lunch, a road trip to Kingston to see Ed and Donna, a trip to the papinack zoo, a weekend alone with grandma and papa while mommy and daddy were in Toronto attending a weeding) and an Ottawa bus tour with the whole family...and of course all the little things in between...building block towers with grandpa...baking cakes with Grandma...!!! TOO CUTE.
I'm exhausted just typing that out...I think Grandma and papa did a great job keeping up with Olivia!!!!
Olivia misses Grandma and Grandpa very much and wishes they didn't live SO far away. But she still tells us.."Grandpa had to go to work" and "Grandma went home to take care of Grandpa" LOL
Anyway - Thank you again! Your taking those two weeks with Olivia meant that Brad and I did not have to struggle to juggle our vacation time to cover the entire 3 weeks the daycare closes in the summer!
MUCH LOVE and see you soon!!! xoxox
